My philosophy of teaching stems from being the first teacher of my own 4 children. They are role models for their peers. Providing a caring and loving environment for the child is first priority in order to produce learning. In my teaching strategies I always look to matching the needs of a student with his/her abilities to learn, because I believe that every student can learn at his/her own pace. I use a lot of learning materials and hands-on activities to facilitate the learning process. I earned my doctorate degree in Education, minoring in Administrator for Teaching and Learning. I have a master's degree in School Administration and Supervision from Mercy College, NY and hold the SAS certificate of that state. My Georgia state certificate is in progress. I have 7 years of teaching experience and more than five years of tutoring. My experience in teaching and tutoring covers Elementary and Middle School level services including languages for English-speaking students, such as Arabic and French in addition to other subjects, such as k-8 Math.
