I have worked in the education field for 9 years. I have taught primarily children ranging between the ages of 4 and 5. Before I began teaching, I played in the WNBA with the Indiana Fever. I was also a 4 year letter-winner for The University of Georgia women's basketball team. I look forward to helping your child succeed in the classroom. I have worked with helping children to be successful in the areas of phonological awareness, mathematical skills, and improve penmanship.
Areas of Focus:
Phonological awareness: Work on listening, Rhyming, Alleteration, Sentence Segmenting, Onset/Rhyme and Phoneme Manipulation.
Mathematical skills: Numbers and Operation, Patterns, relationships and functions,Geometry and spatial relations, and Measurements
Improve penmanship by having writing assignments.
