I have a BS degree in Math from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. I have always had a real passion for Math. I have been teaching at a SACS credited Technical College for six years, and I have really accepted the challenge to teach students of all ages and backgrounds the importance of math and education in their success in the world. I work hard to teach students the basic skills and principles of math and algebra. I know a lot of my students do not like math because they have never really understood what they were really doing. In my classes, we do a lot of student-teacher involvement with questions and group work time. At the end of a quarter, I take time to analyze the success of my students so than I can continue to improve my presentation and teaching skills. After class, I do tutoring time for my students that ask for extra help in understanding the class presentation. My passion for math is acknowledged by my students, and their desire to succeed is challenged in a good way.
