I am passionate about language—all languages. I respect all linguistic backgrounds and consider the mastery of language[s] as a tool for bettering one's self. To this end, I excelled in my Applied Linguistics training during my undergraduate education, attained the highest honors during my graduate education in Anthropology, and studied various languages myself: Ancient Greek, Classical Latin, Spanish, French, and Olde English.

As an English language tutor, I am desirous that my students' goals for their own language education be fulfilled. Whether they need assistance in the reading, writing, or grammar rules of English, or need help preparing for English tests or exams, I aim to guide them toward success. I am confident that my amicable personality will put students at ease while I use all of the skills and resources at my disposal to assist them.

Great! — Michael S. is simply great and really good. First he was on time; he's patient and he took time out to listen to my one hour audio recording before my first lesson. He also prepared a lesson specifically for my need. I truly appreciate all his help. You are the best, am glad I picked you. ...
