I have extensive experience mentoring and tutoring high school students with science related subjects. I worked at the Florida State College of Medicine as a tutorial assistant four years. These topics include biology, anatomy, chemistry, and so forth. I also was the assistant coordinator of the program, so i got to plan educational trips to facilitate more learning. I have many years of experience in working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various subjects. I am currently a trainee in the Georgia Leadership and Education in Neurodevlopmental Disabilities program.
I received two Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science and Social Science. I was a pre-medical student so I have a very strong science background. I took classes including Biology 1 & 2, Chemistry 1 & 2, Organic Chemistry 1 & 2, biochemistry and etc. Because of my Exercise Science background and four year employment at Florida State University College of Medicine I have extensive knowledge of the human body and health related issues. I am currently a student at Georgia State University pursuing my Masters in Social Work.
I am have ample community involvement and non-profit experience.I have experience with people with disabilities. I have been on service trips national and international so I am very well with people from diverse backgrounds.
My strengths: biology, anatomy, health/wellness related topics, general science, students with special needs, social sciences, basic math.
