I have extensive experience mentoring and tutoring high school students in science-related subjects. I worked at the Florida State College of Medicine as a tutorial assistant for four years. Topics I covered there included biology, anatomy, and chemistry, among others. I also was the assistant coordinator of the program, so I got to coordinate educational experiences to facilitate more learning. I have many years of experience in working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various subjects. I am currently a fellow in the Georgia Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program.
I received two Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science and Social Science. I was a pre-medical student, so I have a very strong science background. Because of my Exercise Science background and four year employment at Florida State University College of Medicine, I have extensive knowledge of the human body and health-related issues. I recently received my Master's in Social Work from Georgia State University.
