I have a double major from Morehouse College in English and Psychology, and I'm certified to teach English 020 & 021. For a few weeks I taught English to South Korean children, and am a very energetic teacher that can help students with everything from grammar to advanced writing skills. I also can demonstrate the correct way to list sources in MLA format research papers and proper in-text documentation. My focus is on helping students to understand the key elements of grammar, reading comprehension, and writing composition. In addition, I am able to teach more advanced students how to use a variety of narrative structures to communicate more effectively. Attention will be given to the importance of constructing linear arguments and counter-arguments when supporting a thesis. For the youngest students basic exercises emphasizing proper enunciation, spelling, and vocabulary will be provided.
