The best way to learn any language is to reside among the people who speak that language. This is exactly what I did as a young person. I was a missionary then and I was compelled to learn French in order to teach others about the teachings that I believed in and taught. Since then, I raised a family and my children went to French schools, not French immersion. So, while working in secular work, I was a salesman most of my life, some of which was in the French community. I still give public lectures in French. This weekend, I am performing a wedding ceremony in French.
I have been integrated in the French way of living, visiting France in 2006, corresponding with some families there even to this day. The French culture also helps one to think as they do.

I do not have a degree as a teacher, I am self-taught (Hugo's - French Made Simple course). I do believe that this was the best way since I lived, worked and inter-reacted with the French. But, my life experience as a missionary, presently an elder in my religious affiliation and work and living among the French community gives me a cutting edge above the teacher with only a degree.

My teaching methods are practical and easy to understand, helping the student comprehend the whole sentence or phrase and why it is structured that way.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

ESL/ESOL

I am born and raised in the English tongue. I have diversified over the years and I have become proficient in spelling and in grammar as I also have done in the acquired French language later on as a teenager. If you are interested primarily how to say AND pronouce words in English, then I am the tutor you want. I have decades of experience being a congregational elder in counseling and teaching.
