I have recently graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University. I received my Associate's degree previously in Middle Grades Math Education. I have worked for the Cobb County School system tutoring students in math, including prealgebra, algebra 1, and geometry and also study skills. Math is my strong point and I love helping others learn the subject. In high school I struggled in math but when I got to college, it all clicked and I have loved it ever since. This is why I decided that I wanted to teach middle school math. I feel like I can relate to students who struggle in math because I struggled in school too. Although math is my strong point, I am also very good at teaching study skills and helping students become organized. I have a lot of resources for helping your student learn to take better notes and be more organized so that when it comes time to study for a test, they can study more effectively. Since I am working toward my degree in Early Childhood Ed. I also know a lot about elementary school subjects. If your student needs help in math, study skills, or elementary subjects I would love to help!
