My teaching career started when I was 23 years old and I accepted a job in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was for a challenging, third grade class. I left my hometown in New Castle, Pennsylvania where I received a Masters degree in Elementary Education and flew to Las Vegas. I lived and taught there for only one year then moved to Livermore, California to teach and be with my now husband, Kevin. I taught Elementary Science there for the next 9 years and loved it! After having my second child, and taking a break from teaching for a while, we all moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to be closer to family. There I taught at a preschool for a year. After being in Raleigh for 3 and 1/2 years, we then moved to Poland, Ohio, a half an hour from my home town. There I did some substitute teaching and worked for Butler County Community College as a Laboratory Technician for a year and a half. My husband then received a new job here in Georgia, so after 3 years in Ohio, we moved here in August of 2011. Now, still a mom as my main job , I am eagerly seeking a job as a tutor for elementary students. I am willing to tutor on any elementary subjects.
