I have had a very fruitful and rewarding interaction and experience with kids aged 3 to 12. I love English as a language and would love to infuse the same enthusiasm about it into the minds of young readers and writers. I love to read, any and all kinds of books just for the sheer appreciation of how individuals think unique and express it in so many different styles. When I teach children, I first like them to appreciate this diversity of opinions and expressions and then inculcate their favorites into their work. I like to use quotes and verses for teaching English and have a vast collection from the books I have read and admired.
I have worked with first year college students teaching business communication as well as a pre-kindergarten group in a preschool and have been tutoring students privately for more than past 5 years. I hold a high school certificate with History and English as majors, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English and Master of Business Administration degree with Personnel Management as a major.
Apart from reading, I nurture a passion for needlework and love to teach interested souls, young and old, the art of creating beautiful embroidered keepsakes.
I can assure students of a fun and enriching teaching-learning session whenever we are together as I believe in giving my best always.
