I have achieved a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature and the Certification of Teaching from Catholic University of Sao Paulo and a Bachelor' in Publicity and Advertising from the College of Communication Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation in Sao Paulo, Brazil. My credentials were evaluated in August, 1996 by Evaluation of Foreign Education and Training at Education International, Inc indicating that my degrees are accepted at any accredited institution in the United States.
I live in the United States and I am an American Citizen.
I used to teach English in Sao Paulo, Brazil for groups of more than 100 students in a specialized school that prepares students for colleges paid for by the Brazilian Government. As a private teacher I used to teach upper management and employees for American Companies in Sao Paulo, such as Dow Chemical, DuPont and Seagrams. I used to teach high school students as well.
I have been teaching English for more than 15 years and I love what I do. The method used is simple focusing on spontaneous spoken English through progressive listening as well as improving pronunciation and building vocabulary in this special course of English as a second for young adults and adults. The student's lessons will be about ideas: listening to and understanding other people's ideas, communicating your own or exchanging ideas with your friends. There will be a variety of activities in the student's lessons- there are problems to solve, discussions to participate in, roles to play, and tasks to complete.
