Although I am passionate about lifelong learning, I am just as passionate about helping others maximize their potential. I believe learning should be fun, and have creative approaches and lessons that encourage a student's ability to develop their own criticcal thinking skills and recognize the areas where they excel. My job is to put myself out of business! I want each student to realize the value in learning, but also develop a sense of value in themselves for what they can become.
I have experience working and tutoring both young children, high school age, and adult learners. I look for what works for the individual, rather than forcing an approach or learning style that suits my needs. I like to use visuals, games, internet resources, hands-on activities and crafts to help a student retain and understand the material.
I am a graduate student pursuing my Master's in Human Services, because I love people. My life's goal is to help others succeed and assist those who are less fortunate in any way possible. I would love to work with your family and help you realize just how far learning can take you!
