I strongly believe in hands-on teaching, but I will also rely on reference material and online tutorials to further learning. I am knowledgeable in several Adobe programs as well as several different versions of those programs. For example Adobe Photoshop Elements; Adobe Photoshop 7, CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5; Adobe InDesign CS3, CS4; Adobe Illustrator CS2, CS3, CS4; most programs have slight variations between versions, so I am confident that I can teach you how to use your program no matter what version you own or have access to.

I am a recent graduate of Kennesaw State University. My degree is a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Printmaking. I also took several graphic design and drawing classes. For cameras, I know how to use a 35 MM film camera, medium format film camera, and a 4x5 film camera; digital cameras I own and use a Nikon D70. Whether you are interested in film or digital cameras, I can help you get started and provide critical teaching to help you improve your subject matter, composition, and confidence. If you are interested in printmaking, I have experience in several methods and techniques, most you can do at home.

Photography

Film or Digital. I've used a Nikon, Canon, and Sony digital cameras. For Film I have practice with a 4x5 Large Format, Medium Format, and 35 MM. I know how to develop black and white film (if you have the resources and want to try it). I can also direct you to where you can get color film developed and a few of the processes besides the standard available. Or if you want to do it at home, I can help you find the chemicals and start your own darkroom.
