Hey!
I'm Meck and I wouldn't mind tutoring you in any of the Elementary subjects. I'm pretty flexible with any subject and my schedule this school year allows me to be done with school at 3:30 M-Thursday and by noon on Fridays. I'm also available on weekends. I've had experience working with kids from K-6 and would love to work with students within these age categories. This past summer, I worked as a 3-6th teacher in California (created lesson plans which included crafts, music, bible story, games). I also tutored the elementary kids in subjects like math and reading & vocabulary.
I've had experience working with young children ever since my freshman year of college. In my free time, I love to go to church, play tennis, read, cook, and hang with friends. I also indicated that I wouldn't mind tutoring tennis or volleyball. I love both sports. I played tennis all through high school and I currently play now but just for fun. I was on the intramural tennis team my freshman year of college. I've enjoyed volleyball too and was on intramurals for it. I play for fun, usually.
I've always enjoyed challenging my friends and pushing them to work their very best. I usually let them attack something and ask them questions to try to understand how they're processing material to help them get to a conclusion. If they're struggling or feel like giving up, I'll help them out. I find that you learn better when you see your mistakes. I've always been interested in teaching life skills too. I've always been a relational person and wouldn't mind pouring into them any advice I may have.
