Hi, my name is Tamika. I would like to continue to develop my teaching skills while creating a challenging and fun learning environment for students. I love teaching and I love children.

I am a Georgia certified and highly qualified teacher. I attended the University of West Georgia and graduated with a Masters in Special Education. My undergraduate degree is in elementary education and organizational leadership. I am also certified in SPED reading, math, science, social studies, reading and language arts. I plan to also be certified in 6-12 math and early childhood education this year. I currently work at Sylvan Learning Center part-time, where I teach children of all ages math and reading. I love helping children to succeed.

I want to continue to encourage students to do their best by believing in themselves, staying focused and never giving up no matter how hard their academics may seem.

I have a bachelors degree with an emphasis in elementary education. I have been a substitute teacher for elementary grade levels for six years. I love this job. How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
