As a teacher in the community, I'm pleased to bring my training and expertise to tutoring especially in elementary education. It is a thrill to work one-on-one with individuals or small groups who need a little support to reach their educational goals. I am an elementary school teacher, but can help in various subjects for middle school and adult learners. Right now, I am in the process of getting certified in inclusion education and Orton Gillingham. This summer I will be working towards my master degree at Kennesaw State in inclusion and ESOL education.
I work with at-risk students in my local school district, helping them with math concepts. I am able to help my students with instruction in different kinds of knowledge, such as real-life practical examples and simulations. Creating multiple paths so that students of different abilities, interest or learning needs experience equally appropriate ways to absorb, use, develop and present concepts as a part of the daily learning process. I allow students to take greater responsibility and ownership for their learning.
I am an experienced, professional, and qualified private tutor that assists students in homework help, review of classroom material, test and exam preparation for the class, as well as study and organization skills. I am also available to help students who are home-schooled. Usually, I only tutor with one subject at a time, but can help various subjects for slightly higher fee.
