Hi there, I was born in northern China and I moved to the States when I was 14 years old. I speak perfect Mandarin. No accent! In 2010 I returned to China to study the Chinese language and I received a HSK (Chinese Proficiency Exam) certificate with an "A" grade in the advanced level (It is the highest level). During my study in China, I've been tutoring foreign students Chinese and the Pinyin System. The Chinese Pinyin System helps Chinese children and foreigners with character pronunciations, and it is used to spell out Chinese names in Roman Alphabets in English speaking countries.
I'm familiar with Chinese history, poems and fables. I will take you across 5000 years of history in minutes by reading the classic ancient literature. I started to practice Chinese writing calligraphy at a young age. I can't wait to share with my students the art of using brushes and inks. You will discover a whole new world in it.
Did I mention that I can cook Chinese food as well? Dumplings, meat buns, fried rice ... you name it!
