I have been teaching fifth grade for the last four years. I am a certified teacher in SC, for grades K-6. I am stronger in Math and Science, but I do have experience with both ELA and Social Studies.

I don't have a lot of experience as a tutor, other than my own students that needed extra help. I have had a few students, though, who after leaving my class and going on to the next grade had me help to smooth over the rough patches they were experiencing.

I plan on earning a Masters Degree in Counseling, and I do believe that it is equally important to teach students character as well as state standards.

I played college basketball and have also coached at the middle school and high school levels- boys and girls.

Basketball

I grew up playing basketball, and my high school team lost 9 games during my junior and senior years. I went on to play at Fork Union Military Academy, and received numerous scholarship offers. I played Division 1 basketball, and had potential to play professionally overseas. I have coached everything from Upward Basketball to boys and girls at the middle school and varsity levels. Some former players have gone on to become college basketball players themselves.
