What can I say? My wife married a nerd. It's a broad stroke of the word, but I just enjoy learning and sharing what I learn with others.
So, here we are, and I'm at a loss for words... To narrow some of this down, I graduated in the top 10 of my high school graduating class. I excelled in all subjects as well as extracurricular activities. It was never easy; it was work. That's what I hope to establish with my clients. The subject may not be easy, but hard work, perseverance, and a good attitude will push you 99% of the way.
The same creed held true for my college career. I went from being one of the best to standing among the best. I had surrounded myself with future CFOs, entrepreneurs, research scientists and engineers. I was in deep and I had to adapt to succeed. Adaptation was/is the key to my success. Every class, every teacher, and every student are unique. Each carry their own positives and negative attributes.
The key is to have an adaptive strategy to help develop a student to attain their goal. Do they want to want to understand the general idea? Master the concept? Do they just want to pass and move along? Knowing this is the crucial first step.
If you have asked yourself, "What do I want from this?" or "What is it going to take to get me through this?" then I believe you're at the best possible place to start.
I'm excited to help you find an adaptive direction. I'll do my best to help you find the answer to your questions and meet your goals. If all else fails, I'll adapt.
