I am an experienced educator who is committed to helping students become more proficient during the learning process. My teaching experience expands a wide range of abilities and levels. I have taught students in K-12 and beyond, and I am committed to establishing and maintaining a climate that supports positive learning experiences.
In addition to my formal training, I have kept abreast in the field of education by attending and completing numerous workshops, seminars, training, and supplemental courses for education, curriculum, tutorial and academic remediation, and adult education services.
With more than thirty years in the field of education, I've worked extensively in the development and collection of curriculum resources and materials. My experience also includes outreach, tutoring, supervisor of tutoring programs, instructor of literacy, GED preparation, adult education, and other subjects. These positions led to a broaden knowledge of teaching methods and strategies that resulted in improvements in student learning. I am a results-oriented educator who monitors and assesses the progress of students on an ongoing basis. My goal is to keep students meaningfully engaged in the learning process to effectuate positive results.
