I am a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Michigan Law School. I have over 20 years of litigation and legal experience. I am available to tutor students and young practitioners in legal education and the practice of law. I am available to assist students in the Greater Atlanta and Buckhead areas.
Specifically, in reverse order, while leading my consulting firm and law firm from the present to 2008, I have worked with several law students and young attorney in the concepts of law on a practical basis, researching real life legal problems and applying them to real life situations while interfacing and assisting my clients directly. My oversight and training of these students and lawyers has been hands on and extensive. From 2009 through 2011, I worked with approximately 10 paralegals on an extensive case which required my training of these colleagues in the aspects of federal court litigation and discovery practice.
In my previous experience at Washington, D.C. based law firms and corporate counsel, I have worked with several law students and young attorneys in summer workshops and moot court advocacy groups sponsored by Georgetown School of Law, George Washington University Law School and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
Finally, while at the University of Michigan Law School as a third year student, I taught a class of 12 first-year law students the fundamentals of legal writing and the practical aspects of legal writing at law firms.
