Adobe Flash

I am an adjunct college professor with seven years experience teaching Graphic & Web Design curriculum.

Students received instruction in asset (symbol) and timeline management, keyframe placement and effects, basic animation concepts, working with text objects and the type panel, adding sound and video, and optimizing and exporting Flash Professional projects in SWF, FLA, and XFL formats.

Students are also introduced to basic ActionScript 3.0 coding, as well as working with code snippets.

Adobe InDesign

In a lab-based setting, I have designed layout production exercises and evaluation rubrics using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.

Students produced layouts for print and collateral materials from assigned concepts and production specifications. Students were shown how to develop techniques to select visual components (photography, illustration, text blocks, and headline typeface and form) for successful layouts. There existed an emphasis within the courses on employing effective visual structural systems (grid structures) to produce a cohesive group of ad layouts in a variety of page formats.

Adobe Photoshop

I am a college professor with seven years of experience teaching courses in the Graphic & Web Design department. I have twenty years of experience using Adobe Photoshop as both a student and instructor.

I have developed and lead tutorials in a lab setting to teach students with a wide range of abilities the best practices for digital imaging, compositing, web optimization, print production, drawing, and image correction and restoration.
