Let me help you reduce your math, economics or programming stress!
Numbers not adding up? Are all programming languages Greek to you?
I tutor in order to help others on their pursuit of their life goals. My favorite classes in school were math, Spanish, economics, and programming.
I was valedictorian of my high school and a recipient of over $600k in scholarships which paid for all 11 years of my college education. I hold a Doctorate of Science in Systems Engineering, with a minor in Finance, a MS in Information Technology emphasizing Information Systems Engineering, a BA in Economics, and a BS in Computer Engineering achieving Summa Cum Laude in each.
My work background includes software engineering, economic modeling and financial services. I have always loved theory, implementation, and education.
I intend to engage and challenge my students by providing a facilitated learning and balanced assessment environment in effort to inspire them. I feel that learning is most effective and students are empowered when they are initially presented with a narrow scope of information that provides a solid foundation. After which, the breadth of material can be expanded and the students will feel challenged but not overwhelmed as we build upon their foundation. I feel that this approach coupled with the option of flexibility will provide for an effective learning environment.
To ensure that students have a quite and comfortable study space in which to work with me, I have a tutoring office in Downtown Decatur, Ga, where I teach private lessons and group classes. However, I am happy to travel to another location if that is more convenient for the student.
I look forward to helping you achieve success without too much stress.
