Hi everyone! I recently graduated from Emory University with a BA in Spanish and co-minors in Mathematics and Global Health. I was a peer tutor for Spanish, and I was involved in many volunteer opportunities that focused on mentoring and tutoring in elementary and middle school settings.
I tutor all levels of Spanish. I can help with writing, reading, and listening skills and develop studying strategies. I have experience tutoring Spanish for middle schoolers, college students, and adults. I am a fluent speaker, but not native. I am available just to practice conversation skills or to work towards succeeding in a Spanish class.
I also tutor math and English subjects. I minored in Math at Emory and took two years of AP Calculus in high school, so I understand the work needed to succeed in those atmospheres. I can tutor subjects from elementary math to Calculus. I believe that practice is key to succeeding in mathematics, so I base my tutoring approach on solving a lot of problems, and addressing a lack of understanding in the underlying theory.
I look forward to helping you or your student develop strategies for academic success!
