I have recently returned to the United States after spending two years teaching ESL in a public elementary school in Seoul, South Korea. There, I focused on phonics, listening, reading and writing skills for young learners. In addition to my primary job, I also worked with adult North Korean refugees in strengthening their English language skills.
I earned a bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing from Georgia State University in 2010. While there, I worked at the writing center assisting incoming students with essay writing and editing.
I have a deep passion for teaching. My subjucts include essay writing, reading comprehension, SAT/ACT/GRE verbal preparation, ESL, and phonics. I've worked with both children and adults and can adapt easily to different learning styles.
I look forward to meeting with you!
