Having a great passion for education, I have taught elementary, middle, and high school students in a variety of settings. I started teaching high school social studies in Brooklyn, New York nearly 20 years ago. While in Atlanta I have taught all subjects (pre-algebra, English/language arts, social studies, science, and religion) for 7th grade. In addition, as a Director of Education for a national tutoring company, I have over five years experience working with K-12 students in beginning reading, academic writing, study skills, ACT, CRCT, SAT & SSAT prep.
I am able to engage students, facilitate the learning process, identify current and potential needs of students, and establish realistic and attainable academic goals.
