My name is Amber D. I have an undergraduate degree from Georgia State University in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Special Education. I have my Master's degree in Collaborative Special Education K-6th from The University of Alabama. I will be pursuing my Educational Specialist degree in Special Education in the Fall. I am a Resource teacher with a Title 1 school in DeKalb County School System.

I am certified in the State of Georgia in these areas:
Early childhood education (P-5)
Special education general curriculum consultative (P-12)
Special education cognitive levels: language arts, reading, math, science, and social studies (P-5 and 4-8).

I will help with homework or with students that are struggling in an area in general and need more support in that area.

I like to use different methods to help students improve in the areas that they need help with. Hands on with coloring, manipulatives, or cut and paste; technology such as computer websites or iPad apps; using general basic ways to help students.

Sometimes a student just needs someone to slow down and help them with what they have learned.
