My name is Amber D. I have an undergraduate degree from Georgia State University in early childhood education with a concentration in special education. I have my master's degree in collaborative special education K-6th from The University of Alabama. I am a special education resource teacher with DeKalb County Schools.
I am certified in the State of Georgia in these areas:
Early childhood education (P-5)
Special education general curriculum consultative (P-12)
Special education cognitive levels: language arts, reading, math, science, and social studies (P-5 and 4-8).
I like to use different methods such as technology or hands on to help my students. I also believe that homework is a way to help students prepare and see where they are coming along with the information that they are working on.
Sometimes a student just needs someone to help them and slow down on teaching them.
