Hi. I own a video production company that produces television documentaries. I was also a substitute teacher in Michigan before moving to Georgia.
As a substitute teacher I was always requested by both teachers and students to come into a classroom. I really enjoy teaching and working with people. All subjects can be fun if you present the material in the right way. We all have different ways of learning. I was a kid who struggled in school. I graduated and got a college degree. I understand students who struggle I was one of them. I believe being able to relate to all students makes me popular with both students and teachers. I love to hear the sound of understanding; it goes something like this, "Ohhhhhh! My WoW factor in teaching is the Ohhhh factor!"
If you have a hard time in math, history, English, or science I can help you with that. If you're behind I can give you some techniques for keeping up. Math can be intimidating for a lot of us but it doesn't have to be. Let me help you think about math in a new way, its worked for many my students, I'm sure it will work for you too.
I can help you or your child with understanding and retention of materials. I do this by helping explaining why a lesson is relevant now and in the future. I don't think of myself as a tutor or teacher, I'm more of a learning coach!
