I am a very fun loving individual, and many people enjoy being around me. I am also very driven, and when I set a goal failure is no longer an option. Failure is never an option for me, and with my assistance I can guarantee that you will excel in the subject that I tutor you in if you cooperate. My area of expertise tend to be around anything mathematical or English related. I am also very capable in science. I am currently enrolled at Georgia State University pursuing my bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science. I have a 3.6 GPA after my first semester. I was invited to and will be joining Alpha Lambda Delta National Honors Society. This is an honor only attainable for students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher that are also in the top 20% of their class.

I am very creative, and I can explain things very clearly by providing concrete examples and by showing alternate ways to approach a problem.I work very well with elementary and middle school students. My mother is an 8th grade math teacher, and I have tutored many of her students. I also participated in a mentor program at a local elementary school. My approach to tutoring is knowing that there is always more than one way to solve a problem. The key is finding the way that works for you. I will not accept failure from myself, and I will not accept it from anyone I tutor either. You will succeed. I look forward to working with you.

Regards,

Austin W.

Algebra 1

My mother herself teaches this very subject. I received an A in this course in middle school, and now I use some of the skills everyday in Calculus. Algebra 1 is one of the building blocks of higher mathematics.
