I enjoy working with students in small groups or individually. I always loved math and science courses as well as writing and composition. In high school, I explained concepts and problems to classmates quite often. In college, I volunteered as a chemistry tutor at a public school for 2 years. Students came after school, if they needed extra help. I never missed a day and enjoyed every bit of it. I have also worked as a teaching assistant in graduate school for a circuits lab course and held weekly tutoring sessions.

I get a sense of joy and satisfaction, when I am able to help a struggling student become more confident. It is wonderful to see someone go from disliking a subject to developing great interest in it.

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
