I believe my skills teaching children grades kindergarten through 7th grade English as their second language gives me a unique ability to work as a tutor. In my job, I taught not only English, but also every content area. I was in charge of my classroom of ethnically and linguistically diverse students. I was given a set of goals to achieve and then it was my responsibility to figure out the most effect way to present that information.
