My devotion to education is lifelong. Throughout my in-class instruction for 16 years in the Fulton County School system teaching U.S. History, World History and Geography, I have developed numerous study guides, videos, PowerPoints, and websites that are aligned with the new National Performance Standards for Social Studies. These materials are all designed to prepare students for their End-of-Course Tests in American Government, World History, and American History.
I have included in my review materials a wide variety of references and bibliographies which will aide the student in understanding the multicultural nature of American society. My job is to simplify the course curriculum and allow the student to take ownership of what is presented in class by establishing a solid foundation of the subject through the tutoring sessions.
When presented with the various study guides and references, along with my assistance, students will develop a process to succeed throughout the course instead of when they fall behind.
My depth of commitment in helping students learn and appreciate the study of history and generally all social studies is unwavering. Students should be made aware of the power of understanding history and how learning history allows them to make informed and intelligent decisions for the rest of their lives.
