I am mainly a Japanese tutor that has had four years of Japanese classes and culture experiences. I am very passionate about the language and the culture and would love to help others become as passionate as I am. I can help teach the basics and intermediate grammar and vocabulary as well as helping lead you to other supplementary sources to help broaden your knowledge of the Japanese language and culture. During my time in those classes I was able to teach and also help run a group outside of class that was held once a week. The group was meant for students to come in at a specific time and be able to get help on what ever they needed help with, which included homework, grammar and vocabulary, or ever just simple conversational skills.
I do have a business degree from an accredited business school. Classes ranged from business law to management to marketing, and all classes I took were heavily influenced by professors that had a career background in those fields of study, along with the school bringing in professionals for extra events for the students.
I played trumpet and clarinet for seven years in middle and high school for jazz, marching, concert and symphonic band. I made the All District Band my last year using the clarinet. I have also played for churches and other group meetings for various holidays. There would be sometimes in class that we were able to write our own music, but mostly we were always sight-reading music, finding just the right piece to play for our quarterly concerts.
My other skills are based off of my experiences outside of class and school. I was on swim team for four years and the last two of those I helped coach. I have been taking martial arts since 1999, and have received my black belt and have been teaching for over eight years.
