I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am certified with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. I have over ten years of experience teaching children ages Pre-K through First Grade. I specialize in reading, phonemic awareness, grammar, writing, and math. I have tutored children for over ten years as well. I have a passion for teaching/tutoring children. I believe in providing a nurturing environment for children.
My tutoring process consists of utilizing creativity in the learning environment. I incorporate each subject area with hands on activities. I know that each child has their own unique style of learning. When I tutor, I am able to ensure that my students receive a quality learning experience while teaching them that learning can be fun and exciting.
