I have extensive, hands-on experience dealing with numbers, science and languages. My background includes Chemical Engineering and MBA degrees, technical/management consulting job histories, foreign language/travel/culture exposure, and graduate school-level teaching as a former graduate research assistant to the Dean of my graduate business school.
My approach to training/coaching is very pragmatic yet demanding. I exercise (a)constant quizzing of what you are learning to assess your progress, (b)a lot of patience, especially when teaching numbers, (c)two-way communications to ensure full knowledge conveying, and (d)illustration of real-life examples on what you are learning so that you appreciate its value and application. I've tutored college students, coached technical personnel and taught training classes for former employers.
I have people skills and enjoy sharing aspects of my professional experience that are relevant to the course discipline that you are trying to become strong on.
