I have a very diverse educational background, and understand topics the way I teach them- by first identifying the big picture, then breaking it down into individual components, so that together, they make sense. I have worked as a Peer tutor for 3 years in total, and have been a Teaching Assistant for almost as long, so I have encountered students of all backgrounds, and always have patience for new individuals.

Biology

Biology is my main area of interest (and, as a result, my most informed subject). I have done many biology subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels, from Introductory to Biochemistry, Microbiology, Virology, Cell Biology and the like.

Genetics

I have taken several levels of genetics: introductory and general at the more basic level, and microbial genetics and molecular biology at the graduate level.

Microbiology

I have taken undergraduate and postgraduate microbiology coursework, including basic microbiology, microbial ecology and genetics, molecular basis of disease, virology, immunology and microbial physiology.
