I am a certified elementary school teacher that presents very professionally and believe you will find my skills and experience to be exceptional within my area of expertise. My skills have been developed by assignments as unique as international classroom teaching and as basic as retail management, merchandising, and business to business customer service. My education is founded on a solid liberal arts curriculum that forms the basis of my perspective as I begin each new challenge.

I have 9 years of elementary education experience, along with 4 years of fashion design schooling. My teaching internship was completed in New Zealand where I learned Reading Recovery first hand. I am well versed in the GA elementary education curriculum, fashion sewing, pattern development, technical & computer drawing, draping, and design. I offer a wide variety of skills along with a solid teaching background.

I was a certified elementary school teacher for 15 years and taught K,1st, 3rd, 4th, and EIP over a span of 10 years. I am in the process of renewing my teaching certificate, and can provide a recent certification if requested.

Phonics

I completed an internship in Christchurch New Zealand with Reading Recovery Experience. I've been a reading EIP Teacher for Fulton County.

Study Skills

I have been a teacher for 9 years and a recent student at SCAD Atlanta with a 3.4 GPA. As a teacher, it was my job to write tests which I took a course on while at Auburn. I know what type of information is usually highlighted on quizzes and tests. Not only am I a former teacher but a recent student who maintain high grades. Therefore, I can show others how to be successful in their classes.

Sewing

I am a fashion design student from SCAD, in sewing/art. I have had four years training, maintained a 3.4 GPA, and tutored for SCAD foundations students.

Microsoft Windows

I have used Microsoft office for over 15 years in teaching, contract work with major corporations such as Coca-Cola and UPS, and in my current visual job. I have also taken Microsoft fluency tests through temp agencies and maintain a high score in this area.
