Hello! My name is Lauren M. (many call me by my middle name, Marianna). I graduated with a degree in Foreign Languages at Clark Atlanta University. I have been speaking Spanish for over 12 years and during my undergraduate studies I was invited to cross into the National Spanish Honors Society.
Currently, I use my foreign language skills for translation work, academic tutoring and for those who are interested in learning conversational Spanish. I have had a great deal of success with teaching people of all ages, kids, adults, you name it. If you need to learn Spanish to get ahead on your job, broaden your horizon, increase your academic ability, or whatever; I would love to teach you Spanish. In my spare time, I like to go out Latin dancing. Afro-Cuban music, Brazilian samba & Brazilian axe are my favorite genres of Latin music. I also love kids, and I enjoy working with kids, so there will be no problem in that area.

I speak Spanish all the way to the advanced level. I can teach anywhere from Spanish 101 all the way to the AP level. Whatever is needed or required. I can teach textbook Spanish as well as various Spanish dialects from different Spanish speaking countries. I know the ends and outs of Spanish, I have little more than 11 years of experience.

I can work with various age groups, I have worked with toddlers, middle school kids, and young adults like me at my college.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
