My name is Khiry W. I am a hard working student in Tufts University and starting my junior year in the fall. I have a deep passion for mathematics that I would like to give to others. I love numbers and applying them to new things that I learned in my class like permutations. I am a very determined person and will do whatever it takes to make someone understand math.
I had worked with children at a very young age, as a summer camp assistant. I was a camp assistant for about 5 years and worked with a wide age range of students, from toddlers to preteens. In addition, I have a younger sister whom I occasionally helped with her school work.
When it comes to tutoring methods, I like to think about math as a series of steps that you have to perform every time. You have to practice and complete many problems and figure out a similarity of steps that you did with the practice problems. I found this extremely useful in Calculus but it may be even easier with Algebra due to the lack of complexity when compared to Calculus.
