I hold K-8 certification with endorsements in Language Arts and English. I have spent my teaching experience working with at-risk students and those who require intervention. I believe students learn according to Gardner's Multiple intelligences theory. It is up to me to tap into the individual's learning style to set a positive tone and help the student be successful. I am highly skilled in the use of technology, and have several years experience working with diverse groups. Having homeschooled my son through high school, I have compassion for frustrated parents seeking educational alternatives for their child.
