I've traveled to over 20 countries to study and teach world religions. I have taught for a number of good universities and I am currently an online professor for a national university. I have a masters form University of Chicago, and have an extensive background in English and ESL, which can also help with almost any subject in the humanities.

I love the study of world religions and I am very passionate about the subject. I am not a theologian, meaning that I do not teach favoring any one religion over the other, but rather, I am a historian of religion and my methods are strictly in line with the academic, historical studies of beliefs, rituals and other forms of practice.

I am an English as a Second Language teacher with over five years' experience teaching abroad, most recently in Casablanca, Morocco. I have had many students in Morocco who went on to receive advanced degrees in the USA, Great Britain and other countries.

I typically use The Complete Guide to the TOEFL along with books and CDs, and I like to emphasize how each section of the test depends upon skills in the others.

Religion

My World Religions course is based on a non-theological approach to the study of religions. My course is founded in the academic study of religion, focusing on beliefs, practices, history, culture and locations of various religions. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Religion from Emory University and a Master's Degree in History of Religions and I have done all course work for a PhD in the same subject from the University of Chicago Divinity school.
