Hi my name is Melissa! I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Auburn University. My major was Accounting. I am currently preparing for a Master's degree in Professional Accounting and can readily identify with you or your student in the processes of learning, identifying problem areas, and applying knowledge to exams.
I have been working professionally for over 15 years with local area corporations, colleges and universities. I am currently employed as a governmental accountant. My career exposure has been in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, and account reconciliations.
I am certified in accounting, English, vocabulary, and writing. I am knowledgeable in mathematics up to prealgebra and college algebra levels. My strengths are in tutoring English, writing, principles of accounting and intermediate accounting I & II.
