Hello,
My name is Ivan V. and I have been teaching for about 9 years. I have taught on many different levels. I have taught on the elementary, middle and high school level. I have primarily worked in private school settings that have exposed me to a variety of teaching styles. I am familiar with brain-based learning, project-based curriculum and multi-level classroom structures. I consider myself to be a student-centered teacher and love the concepts of group learning. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Elementary Education with the University of Phoenix online. With my teaching experience and education, I feel I would make an excellent candidate for being a tutor.
I am a father. My wife and I have been married for 22 years and we have 8 children. My wife and I have been major contributors to the education of our children. My oldest son just graduated from SCAD with a 3.8 and my oldest daughter is at GSU with a 3.5. I will bring the same energy and passion for education to help support the learning of your child. I also have developed educational programs such as after school programs and camps. I believe it is very important to make the student feel you have their best interest at heart and that you care for them. I am very good with building a relationship with the student, which will help them with their learning.
