Although many engineers are known for their lack of grammar, I have always been a fanatic about using the English language correctly. When in college, I was an editor of the school newspaper. Professionally, I have written many journal articles and user manuals. I would like to help you in any area that you feel needs strengthening.

Photography

As a photographer using a 35mm SLR camera (Nikon and Canon), I have worked with both film and digital images. I use the Corel PaintShop Photo Pro program to adjust my images. I have completed the Rocky Mountain School of Photography Basic Color Photography course. I have produced portfolios for artists and produced images used on several Internet Commerce sites.

QuickBooks

In my accounting consulting practice, I have used QuickBooks Pro, Premier, and Enterprise versions. I have set up a complete Chart of Accounts for new businesses and performed the bookkeeping for those business using QuickBooks Pro. I used both QuickBooks Premier and Enterprise versions for a major non-profit corporation, using Premier for single-office organizations and Enterprise for multiple-office organizations. Microsoft Windows

I am a certified Microsoft Office Specialist and have worked with Microsoft Windows from Windows 1.0 following the MS DOS operating system. My recent experience includes Windows XP Pro and Windows 7. I use the My Computer and Control Panel to tailor the environment as desired by the user. I can set up networks and Work Groups to allow network file sharing. File organization is an area I recommend to increase efficiency in locating and using files.

Electrical Engineering

I have a BS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and am a licensed Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering in the state of Georgia. I practiced design engineering for 40 years, retiring as Vice President, Principal Engineer at Wegener Communications.

Microsoft Project

As a project director for over 20 years, I used Microsoft Project extensively in the development of many of my company's satellite communications products. I had sole responsibility in using Project to plan, modify, and execute the development process from initial concept through manufacturing and field deployment. I offer instruction from beginning to advanced level project directors or those who want to become project directors.
