I have successfully taught English, reading and writing. I am particularly successful in working with adults who need to learn or review skills for advancement.

I am a former elementary teacher, and I currently train teachers in best techniques and strategies for all learning needs and styles. I am highly successful in teaching students how to organize themselves for better learning outcomes.

ADD/ADHD

I have developed skills and training for myself and others in how to provide high quality direct instruction to students who need to consider learning and physical challenges. I have specific experience with students who have ADD/ADHD and need to improve their organizational skills, focus, and completion of tasks and assignments in a timely manner. I have also coached parents and students in ways to handle various situations as they may arise in school, at home and in the community.

Sociology

My undergraduate major was sociology and I was one of the highest achieving students. I also have a graduate degree with a psycho/social concentration, have applied the principles in my profession, and taught or conducted trainings based upon the the theories in the field. I am particularly comfortable with adults and others who have gaps in their educational preparation and backgrounds.

Social Studies

I have a graduate education in social studies. I have taught social studies and English at the middle and secondary levels. I have a track record of success with students who have difficulty memorizing all the facts, understanding the connections and enjoying historical events.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
