I have completed studies at Syracuse University where I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in aerospace engineering as well as dual minors in mathematics and engineering management. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in aerospace engineering from Georgia Tech and looking to stay busy during the summer. I am proficient in many computer programs and have completed graduate level math courses up to partial differential equations and Fourier series. I have also managed a calculus workshop at Syracuse University where I evaluated and assisted engineering students in learning essential mathematical concepts. My workshop consisted of 9 students, all of whom received nothing below a B+ in calculus. After experiencing my fair share of nightmare professors; I understand that the ability to comprehend a subject versus the ability to teach a subject are fundamentally different skills. Every individual has a unique way of learning new material, this is especially true for challenging subjects involving mathematics. My goal is to identify a students strengths and weaknesses and teach in a way that enables my clients to leverage skills they were unaware they possess. Anyone is capable of learning a subject. Patience, motivation, and confidence are the ingredients to success in any scholastic endeavor.
