I became a journalist for my love for writing, but soon enough I found myself looking into communicating visually, as well, so I became a graphic designer. During my time in art school I had the opportunity to work as an English tutor at the Academic Support Center. I also had the opportunity to work as a teacher's assistant for a Photoshop class. These teaching experiences provided me with the will to focus on developing a creative methodology of learning. It is my personal challenge to find creative ways to make a learning experience fun, and provide assistance to students who need it.
I enjoy working with people, helping them achieve their academic goals. So, this is the reason I decided to enroll in a graduate program in graphic design to further develop my skills as a designer and potential educator. Ever since I have looked out for teaching opportunities, which have proven to be the most rewarding work experiences I have had so far.
