I am a native Spanish speaker from Chile with more than 8 years experience tutoring children and adults (Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina). I have an associate's degree in Theater Direction, Mime & Pantomime Movement. Many of my teaching methods are based largely on play & applying techniques I have borrowed from my experience teaching theater & acting. These help create an environment where learning becomes intuitive, fun & inclusive.
My classes are didactic, fun and stress free and can be adapted to fit the particular needs and interests of the students. I lead a healthy and active lifestyle with my kids (8 & 6 years old) and enjoy art related activities.
I enjoy working with groups of all ages and I take a sincere interest in the growth and development of each student.
Actually, I'm working part-time for a Spanish program where I teach in different day cares in Downtown Atlanta area. In addition, I'm tutoring 5 children (8 years old) in a private "home-school" and tutoring separate classes of children from 4 to 15 years old, and also adults of all levels and ages.
