Brian H. received his B.S. in Foreign Language Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and his M.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Mr. H. has taught French, German and Spanish for more than twenty-five years: first at the junior high school on the U.S. Army base at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and subsequently in the public schools of Cobb and DeKalb counties (Georgia); he is recently retired from Inman Middle School, in the Atlanta public school system. Mr. H. has taught English as a Second Language to foreign-born students; he has recently completed an assignment tutoring grammar school students in Korea – via computer – in spoken English. The son of a military officer, Mr. H. brings to the classroom a broad life experience, exposure to many different cultures and climes, and an abiding interest in global affairs. His interests include science fiction, movies, politics, and good food; he is a dog-lover and a good human to his Bichon frise.
