Laura has been working with my daughter for the past two years in Algebra I&II and Geometry. Her tutoring style is very effective at explaining complicated methods in ways that are easy to understand. She is extremely patient and truly cares about the success of the student. Thanks to Laura's tutoring, our teenager got A's in her most difficult subjects -- Math and Chemistry. Laura worked with my son on Algebra II. He was taking a summer make up class after struggling with Algebra II the prior semester. Laura was great and really helped him connect to the concepts. Laura helped my son with a variety of subjects during his high school career. Mainly with Chemistry, Physics and accelerated math classes. My son was diagnosed with ADHD in middle school, and having a weekly session with Laura in his sophomore and junior years helped him stay on track even when he had a good understanding of the material. Laura came to our home and I let my son manage all sessions with her, to help him learn to advocate for himself. Laura was very easy for him to talk to and keep in contact with on his own, and she was punctual! A wonderful athlete, who could really relate to my year round baseball player. Laura has been tutoring my son for a year and a half. She has been very helpful for Chemistry, Physics, Algebra and Pre-calculus. Most recently they worked on improving his SAT score which was 540 for math. He improved to 700 in three months which is a significant increase! I would highly recommend Laura as a tutor!
